DUBAI (Reuters) -Low-cost airways investor Invoice Franke handed Airbus SE (OTC:) a multibillion greenback order for 255 single-aisle A321 passenger jets on Sunday.
The order contains 102 planes for Europe’s Wizz Air and 91 for the US-based Frontier Airways, and 39 and 23 for Volaris and JetSMART respectively, Airbus stated in an announcement on Sunday.
Frontier Airways stated on Sunday that the brand new plane are scheduled for supply between 2023 and 2029, a separate assertion confirmed.
Airbus signed the cope with Wizz Air, Frontier Airways, JetSMART and Volaris on the Dubai Airshow below a joint settlement with Franke’s non-public fairness agency Indigo Companions.
