Earthquake Today In India: There was an earthquake in Delhi-NCR, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh today (January 24) afternoon. Strong tremors were felt at many places. The earth shook in Joshimath and Ramnagar of Uttarakhand and people felt the earthquake in Lucknow of Uttar Pradesh as well. According to the NCS Center, the earth shook in many states till Delhi, UP, MP, Haryana, Chandigarh, Uttarakhand, Himachal and Bihar.
5.8 magnitude earthquake
The epicenter of the earthquake was in the Gotri area of Nepal. It is being told that the intensity of the earthquake was 5.8, whose depth was 10 kilometers below the ground. After the earthquake, people from many places shared videos of their homes. It can be seen in the videos on social media that how the earthquake had created a scary situation.

Congress woman leader in Delhi-NCR Pankhudi Pathak tweeted a video on Twitter, in which her chandelier is seen shaking due to the earthquake. He tweeted and wrote, ‘There was an earthquake just now. Although I felt the bed move, but I looked at the chandelier to make sure, you can also see that it was an earthquake.’

In Delhi, a woman named Rubina Mongia (@roobinam) tweeted a video on Twitter, in which things in her house started shaking due to the earthquake. Although, these tremors were felt only for a few seconds, but you can see that the glass glasses are seen shaking.
