अपडेटेड: 23 अक्तूबर 2026
These Terms are an agreement between you and Edure Labs ("CyberYukti", "we", "us"), Pratapgarh. They apply to the website cyberyukti.com, the LawBook mobile app and every service offered through them (together, the "Platform"). By using the Platform you accept these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Disclaimer and Refund Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
These Terms are an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it, and need no physical or digital signature.
1. What CyberYukti is
CyberYukti provides legal information, tools and guidance on Indian law and cybercrime, for education and general reference. It is not a law firm, does not give legal advice, and is not connected with any government, court or police authority.
2. Who may use the Platform
You may create an account if you are 18 or older. If you are under 18, you may use the Platform only with the consent and supervision of a parent or lawful guardian, who accepts these Terms on your behalf. Reading public pages needs no account.
3. Your account
- You can sign up with your email address and a password, or with Google.
- Give accurate details, keep your password private, and tell us at once at contact@cyberyukti.com if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- One account is for one person. Do not create accounts in someone else's name or by automated means.
- You can close your account at any time from Account → Privacy & data on the website, or Profile → Delete account in the app.
4. Information only: no legal advice
- Nothing on the Platform is legal advice or a substitute for a qualified advocate. Using the Platform creates no advocate–client or other professional relationship.
- Results from our tools and calculators (punishment, bail, limitation, deadlines, forum and similar) are general estimates based on the facts you enter. Courts decide on the full facts of each case.
- Draft letters and applications are general templates. Have them checked before you rely on them.
- Bare Acts, translations and comparisons are reproduced for reference. The official text in the Gazette of India, India Code or the relevant State gazette prevails. See the Disclaimer.
- In an emergency, contact the police (112) or the cyber fraud helpline (1930) first.
5. Content you post
- You keep ownership of comments, notes, feedback and anything else you submit ("your content").
- For content you make public, such as comments, you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce and adapt it on the Platform. Your private notes, saves and reading history are visible only to you.
- Your content must not be unlawful, defamatory, obscene, hateful or misleading. It must not infringe anyone's rights, impersonate anyone, contain malware, or share another person's personal data without their consent. These are the categories listed in Rule 3(1)(b) of the IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
- Comments are moderated. We may refuse, edit for length or remove content that breaks these Terms or the law, and must remove content when lawfully ordered to.
6. What you must not do
- Break any law, or use the Platform to harass, threaten, defraud or impersonate anyone.
- Try to gain unauthorised access to the Platform, other accounts or our systems, or interfere with their security or performance.
- Scrape, crawl, mirror or bulk-download content, or use bots, except normal search-engine indexing allowed by our robots.txt.

- Post spam, advertisements or links to unlawful material.
7. Our content and your licence to use it
- The text of Acts, the Constitution and other government documents is public law and belongs to no one. Our original work belongs to Edure Labs and is protected by copyright and other laws. This includes the arrangement, summaries, translations, comparisons, explanations, articles, tools, software, design and the CyberYukti and LawBook names and logos.
- We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Platform for your own reference, study and non-commercial work. You may quote short extracts with a link back to the page.
8. Copyright and other complaints
If you believe something on the Platform infringes your rights, write to the Grievance Officer (clause 15). Include the page link, the work you own, and a statement that the information is accurate. We will review it and remove material where appropriate.
9. Advertisements, promotions and links
The Platform shows advertisements served by third-party networks and promotions chosen by us. An advertisement or link is not an endorsement. Any dealing with an advertiser or linked website is between you and them, under their terms.
10. Paid services
The Platform is free to readers today. If we introduce paid features, their price, scope and duration will be shown before you pay, and the Refund Policy will apply. Payments will be handled by a licensed payment provider or app store, and we will not store your full card or UPI details.
11. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Platform available and accurate, but it may sometimes be interrupted for maintenance or reasons beyond our control. We may add, change or withdraw features at any time.

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we do not promise that it will be error-free, complete, current or fit for any particular purpose.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits or opportunity, arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Platform. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or ₹1,000 if you paid nothing. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law, or your rights as a consumer.

You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these Terms, your content, or your misuse of the Platform.
15. Grievance Officer
In line with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules under it, our Grievance Officer is:

17. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Please write to us first; most problems can be settled within 30 days. Otherwise, the courts at Pratapgarh have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting your right to approach a consumer commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

- Waiver. Not enforcing a clause does not waive it.
