धारा 1 · Short title, extent and commencement

(1)

This Act may be called the Andhra Pradesh Co-operative Societies Act, 1964.

(2)

It extends to the whole of the State of Andhra Pradesh.

(3)

It shall come into force on such date [as the ,Government may, by notification in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette, appoint] [With effect from 1-8-1964, vide G.O.Ms.No. 1924, dated 25-7-1964. ].
