धारा 203 · Reservation of offices [to cease on the expiration of the period specified in Article 334.] [Subs by Section 2(ii) of Act No. 7 of 2000.]

- The provisions of this Act relating to reservation of offices of Sarpanch, President and Chairman and members of the Gram Panchayats, [Mandal Praja Parishads] [Substituted 'Mandal Parishads' by Act No. 41 of 2006, dated 23.9.2006.] and [Zilla Praja Parishad] [Substituted 'Zilla Parishads' by Act No. 41 of 2006, dated 23.9.2006.] for the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes [shall cease to have effect on the expiration of the period specified in article 334 of the Constitution of India.] [Subs by Section 2(i) of Act No. 7 of 2000.]
