धारा 33 · Section 33

Immovable property required for the purposes of a town-planning schemes shall be deemed to be land needed for a public purpose within the meaning of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894, [and may be acquired] [Subs for the words 'and may be acquired under the said Act modified in the manner provide in this chapter' by section 3 of Madras Act IV of 1934.]

(a)

under the said Act, or

(b)

under the said Act as modified in the manner hereinafter provided in this chapter.
